Haiti
With Beyond Borders, which represents an independent Christian ministry for literacy, the Outreach Commission is developing a mission project to provide support to Haiti, the poorest country in Latin America. The project, supported by the PCUSA, that we have also chosen to support is The Literary Program. Members of the Outreach Commission show other commissions and groups in PCTR how they can participate in this mission.

Letters for Bread for the World
Members of the Outreach Commission ask the congregation to influence legislation that affects minorities and emerging nations. The commission does this by promoting and organizing letter-writing campaigns to help the poor in the U.S. and abroad as guided by Bread for the World.
