New Member Information

You are invited to explore membership at the Presbyterian Church of Toms River. Each month (with some exceptions), we have Inquirer's classes that allow you to find out more about the Christian faith, the Presbyterian denomination and membership in this congregation.

We are always excited to welcome new members to our church. Every month Rev. David Joynt meets with inquirers for a one time session. During the session together individuals will discuss matters of faith and what it means to be a member of PCTR. These classes are offered either Saturday morning 9:30 - 12:00 or Wednesday 6:30-9:00 PM. Our next class will be September 9 from 6:30 - 9:00 PM.

People as young as 14 can join as adult members, but the process for teenagers is a bit different. Each Fall we have a series of classes specifically for high school students who would like to become members. These Confirmation Classes meet from September through December in "the River."
